Jeffrey Ferrera, MA, LPC, NCC

My name is Jeff Ferrera, and I am a bilingual therapist (English/Spanish). I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University in 2012, as well as my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University in 2015. I subsequently became a Licensed Professional Counselor in early 2019, after completing the required 4,500 direct client hours to become fully licensed in the state of New Jersey.

I knew from an early age that I wanted to be of service and contribute to helping others, and through the practice of providing therapy to people of all walks of life, I feel like I’m accomplishing my passion and purpose in the world.  I’ve spent the last 8 years creating a comfortable and safe space for my clients to facilitate insight, growth, and transformation through the process of talk therapy.  Working in the mental health field has given me the honor of being able to build trust with adults, adolescents, families and couples to help enrich and expand their emotional experience. While currently maintaining my own private practice, I also have experience working in outpatient mental health agencies, as well as serving clients in an in-home therapy setting.
